Membutuhkan waktu 2 hari untuk menyelesaikan lukisan ini. Kesulitan yang saya hadapi saat membuat relief pada tebing air terjun. Niat awalnya ingin mengikuti langkah-langkah panduan Kevin Hill tetapi hasilnya berantakan. Sehingga saya putuskan untuk improvisasi bagian relief tebing tersebut.
Gaya melukis Kevin Hill berbeda dengan Bob Ross. Hasil lukisan Kevin Hill lebih terlihat natural. Selain itu, dia juga menggunakan warna yang tidak terlalu banyak & mengandalkan paduan dari warna-warna yang digunakan. Untuk lukisan ini, hanya 7 jenis warna dasar yang digunakan yaitu:
- titanium white
- cadmium yellow light
- cadmium red light
- burnt umber
- prussian blue
- ivory black
- sap green
Painted on 50x60cm canvas, this painting was inspired from Kevin Hill's original painting. There were some improvisation that I did so the final result is much different than the original one.
I needed 2 days to finish this painting.
The difficulty that I face when making relief on the cliff waterfall. The intention initially wanted to follow Kevin Hill's guide steps but the result was a mess. So I decided to improvise the part of the cliff relief.
Kevin Hill's painting style is different from Bob Ross. Kevin Hill paintings more natural look. In addition, he also uses a color that is not too much & rely on the blend of colors used. For this painting, only 7 types of basic colors used are:
- titanium white
- cadmium yellow light
- cadmium red light
- burnt umber
- prussian blue
- ivory black
- sap green
